Event terms

Make Room for Wonder is organised by Doublespresso Consulting Pte. Ltd., Singapore. These terms apply to our website and events, together with the event-specific information presented before you book.

Bookings and tickets

Bookings, when open, take place through the Luma or Eventbrite link for your chosen event. A website button marked “Booking opens soon” is not a reservation. Your place is confirmed only when the booking platform issues a confirmation. Please check the date, time, venue, price and ticket inclusions before paying, and book through only one platform for each seat you need.

What your ticket includes

Where a card states “Inaugural series · S$23”, the advertised ticket includes one scholarly lecture and one drink. Available drink choices and any additional platform charges will be shown in the event listing or checkout. Food and additional drinks are not included unless expressly stated. Venue rules and applicable age restrictions apply to alcohol service.

Changes, cancellations and refunds

Event-specific refund, transfer and cancellation conditions must be stated in the booking listing before purchase. Read those conditions carefully; the website does not promise that every ticket is refundable or transferable. If we cancel or materially change an event, we will contact registered attendees using their booking details and explain the available arrangements. Contact us if information in the listing is unclear. Nothing in these terms removes rights that cannot lawfully be excluded.

At the event

Bring your booking confirmation. Please treat speakers, staff and other attendees respectfully. We may ask someone to leave if their conduct is disruptive or unsafe. Tell us before booking if you need accessibility information or an accommodation so we can check what the venue can provide.

Photography and recording

Check the event listing and notices at the venue for photography or recording information. Tell the organiser if you do not want to appear in identifiable promotional photographs. Please ask permission before recording a talk or photographing other attendees.

Talks and external services

Talks are for learning and discussion. Speakers’ views are their own and are not individual professional advice. Third-party booking and payment services have their own terms and privacy policies.
